THE LITTLES 'N LACE EVENTS STUDIO TOUR
Owning a business and having an office go hand in hand and for me I had to figure out if I wanted to run my business out of our home or find a office to rent and since I wanted to be a debt free company renting an office was just not practical. I also had to think of how I was going to run my business and take care of Kayden and having a home office just worked better for my life and for his.
Lucky me we have a gorgeous 4 bedroom house that had two rooms avaliable for me to choose from. I of course chose the one that didn't have the walk-in closet {me still hoping for that second baby at the time}.
The office has been through soooo many changes it was originally brown and had hidious carpet I still cringe when looking back at the original office photos and colors, it just wasn't me and did NOT look good together. Once we got the walls painted and the carpet installed I really felt like the space transformed into the home for Littles 'n Lace Events and a beautufil place for my clints to come have their consultations and design meetings.
This office took a lot of time and money to put together, but I didn't pay full price for a single thing in my office except our sign, it's so beautiful! When you are designing your space make a mood board and think of the colors you want in the room, for me it was easy; pink, gold, white and gray. Three colors I love and you can find throughout our house; our house is so rustic, but this room is the girlest in the whole house and definitley reflects me and my girly side.
