Our Livingroom Transformation

You guys! Our Livingroom is DONE! I can not believe I can say that cause I never thought I’d be able to. This livingroom has been through a lot of different paint colors, couches, flooring and finally we’ve landed on what we really wanted and love and it all started with a mirror and a rug. I usually find my final designs in our home with the one simple decoration and this time it was a mirror and a rug.

It may seem strange but when I got those two items I knew exatly what I wanted the room to look like so we first started with the floors. We ripped out all of the old carpet and the tile that was infront of the fireplace and replaced it with the Pergo Heather Oak laminate flooring from Lowe’s. V&V Trim came and installed the flooring and added crown molding to the room. The space imeetiatly felt update and refreshed which was waht it really needed from the day we moved in.

After that was done we hung the mirror and rolled out the new rug and I got to deciding on the rest of the room from there. I love the farmhouse rustic style but still wanted it to feel classic and incorporate the colors I love and not going too pink. The rug has more of a peachy natrual tone to it with blue also incorporated and luckily these colors are very ‘it’ right now so finading decor elements that would play well with the rug and rest of the room were fairly easy.
