THE HOME EDIT NEW BATH COLLECTION AT THE CONTAINER STORE

This months project was all about bathroom vanity and make-up organization. I’m so happy I get to show you the new collection from iDesign and The Home Edit. Their new Bath Collection is so well thought out and every detail will help you keep an organized space. My vanity is the first place I stop in the morning so to have everything organized and easy to access has been something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I also love that everything now looks so cohesive and beautiful even though it’s a part of my home you don’t see often. Let’s take a drawer and cabinet tour…

Inside of my make-up & nail polish drawer I chose to use the Expandable Drawer Organizer. For my makeup drawer, this was so perfect because now I have a little spot for each part of my makeup routine. Since it expands I now can put my Make-up compact in their with the brushes I use and everything isn’t sliding around the drawers.

I also used the Expandable Drawer Organizer for my nail polish drawer. I chose to make my most used colors easily visible and coordinated by color, the others I stored at the top. To store my nail file and it’s tools I put them in the Mini 2 Drawer organizer from the Home Edit and used the smallest Linus Drawer Organizer for the other tools I didn’t have a space for.

The last drawer I think needed the most help. Everything was all over the place and slipping everywhere. For my essential oils and my extra make-up compacts I used the Small Deep Drawers from their collection. This fit my oils perfectly and I was able to find a spot for my compacts.

My favorite piece from The Home Edit collection has to be the Stackable Hair Dryer. I always found my hair dryer getting tangled up under my sink with all my other hot tools, so this is a game changer. Behind it I also used the two larger bins from the iDesign Linus Drawer Organizers for my curling iron, straightener and brushes. Since our bath towels also go under here I chose to store them in the Large Hand Woven Palm Leaf Bin, the bin fit my towels and the cabinet. I was also able to fit the Hair Accessory Bin and Sliding Tray with all my hair tools to store my scrunchies. Before purchasing things make sure you always measure the space you want to organize so you know what size containers and bins will fit.

I love how everything looks, now the countertops are clear of the clutter and my drawers are neatly organized. For all of the pieces I didn’t want to be able to move out of the drawers I kept them down with Quake Gel. This gel helps all of your organizing bins stay in place so things aren’t shifting around.

I hope all of you enjoyed seeing how I organized my space; you can also check out my Instagram Highlights for more and you can shop the rest of iDesign and The Home Edit’s Collection at The Container Store here.
