PARIS TRIP & ITINERARY

I finally got to go to Paris and let me tell you it lived up to everything I was dreaming it would be. We spent a total of 5 days in Paris it was long enough and too short all at the same time so one day there will have to be another trip but for now we will recap this one. We left California Sunday and landed in Paris at around noon so we didn’t have a first full day till Tuesday.

First off we booked our trip in November for April/Spring trip and I planned it myself with zero help. I’m sure we could have squeezed in a few more spots but I wanted to make sure we had at least two free days to just be there with no obligations where we could wander around get to know the city. Things also book up fast in the city of love and romance so if you are planning a trip don’t wait to book your reservations for anything you feel like is a must see and do your research before hand.

I first made a list of must haves to do and see; see the Eiffel Tower, visit Palace of Versailles, take photos and eat all the croissants was one of them. I also made sure to look into experiences we could get while there, like taking a cooking class from experts in making croissants.

THE HOTEL - HOTEL WEST END

This hotel was do dreamy, the hotel is within walking distance of so many monuments, shops and restaurants. We walked a lot of our way around the Paris streets because of the hotels location. Our hotel was perfection from the decor, to the balcony views, we loved every part of it, especially the hotel staff. They were all so amazing and left like friends the moment we walked in. If you are looking for a hotel for your trip I highly suggest Hotel West End .

OUR PHOTOSHOOT & PHOTOGRAPHER

A trip to Paris is a once in a lifetime opportunity to me, so is being alone with my husband on a trip so I knew at least one of these day I had to plan a photoshoot for us I found @theparisphotographer and it made the process SO easy. @odrida.in.Paris was our photographer and I was so happy. She did an amazing job, we enjoyed our session with her I’ll treasure these photos forever. And for a little serendipity she had previously worked with the designer of my dress @lucianaemiliaatelier Not only were couples getting their photos taken but there were also families capturing their trip as well. If you are planning a trip and want to capture it I highly recommend doing this.

BAKING CLASS EXPEREANCE

I knew I wanted us to do some unforgettable things on this trip and taking a baking class at La Cuisine Paris was one of them. I booked their 3 hour Le Croissant & Breakfast Pastries class and we loved it. It was also fun to surprise Greg with this since he loves cooking. It was amazing learning all of the techniques from one of their chefs and what makes the Paris croissant and pastries the best. Another reason I loved it is we were able to take what we learned home and share with our family.  Everything we made was so good and I can’t wait to making it all at home.
