KID'S PLAYHOUSE MAKEOVER

Months and months stuck at home so we finally decided to get a playhouse for the kids, so I guess you could say this is our pandemic playhouse?! All joking aside this thing is something we’ve wanted to get for the kids for quite some time, but just didn’t have enough room in the backyard luckily before all this crazy Covid-19 stuff happened we were able to take everything in the back that was garbage to the dump and rearranged the back for the warmer days ahead and lucky for the kids we then had enough room.

The kids loved the playhouse even before I painted and decorated it and they love it even more now that I really personalized it to them and if they could sleep in it Kayden said he would. {lol} I first chose the colors I wanted to paint the playhouse and I know I wanted the house itself to be white but wasn’t sure what color I wanted to paint the accent pieces like the door, plant holders and window ledges. I did know though that I didn’t want it to be too girly cause Remy isn’t really a girly girl and not sure if she will like the color pink later so I tried to pick a green or blue. I also didn’t want anything too dark either. I looked all over pinterest for inspiration and decided on a Behr Paint had the best outdoor paint options and picked Ultra White & Dayflower.

After picking the paint I started gettingall of the little decor pieces together so it could look like a real home. I also added the kids birthdates to the outside of the playhouse like it was their address. It was such a fun project to do for them and the little house realky made our backyard feel more complete. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing the playhouse trasnformation and like always if you have any questions you can drop them below or contact me on my instagram.
